The groom-to-be who travelled from Shri Lanka, contacted me a few weeks in advance with his elaborate plan. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend, in a way that she would never forget. After brainstorming various locations, we settled on Tower Bridge. Its majestic views, historical significance, and picturesque setting made it the perfect backdrop for such a significant moment.

Setting the Scene

On the day of the shoot, I arrived early to scout the area and find the best angles to capture the big moment. The weather was on our side, cold but clear skies with the occasional sun showing over the Thames. I positioned myself discreetly, ensuring I wouldn't be noticed by the bride to be.

The Big Moment

The groom had arranged for a casual walk with his girlfriend around the Tower Bridge area, pretending it was just another lovely day out in London. As they reached the to the meeting point with the bridge behind them, he paused and started talking about their journey together. I could see his girlfriends curiosity piqued as he took her hands and began to speak more earnestly.

With the Tower Bridge's stunning architecture and the river Thames as the backdrop, the groom dropped to one knee. Her eyes widened in surprise and delight as he revealed the ring and asked the all-important question. She said yes, and I captured the exact moment of their joyous embrace—the tears, the laughter, and the undeniable love between them.

Capturing the Joy

After the proposal, I introduced myself to the newly engaged bride, who was overjoyed to learn that her special moment had been captured on camera. We spent the next hour exploring different spots around Tower Bridge, capturing their happiness and love in a series of candid and posed shots.
